About the Studio
RedRoom Audio is a custom designed recording and mixing studio, and includes a large live room, a separate Control Room, 3 Isolation Booths, a live echo chamber, and an outdoor patio.
The Control Room has been strategically designed for accurate monitoring, with splayed side walls and ceiling, and an inward-leaning front wall. There are no parallel surfaces, and the room is symmetrical. The walls and ceilings are treated for a neutral sound, and mixes done at RedRoom Audio transfer extremely well to other systems.
The studio is equipped with a 72 input Saber Series British Analogue Mixing Console (A&H), racks of outboard gear, Pro Tools, Sonar, Reason and other workstations, and Sean's custom DW drumkit, Roland V-Drums, percussion rack, and amp backline.
The Live Room has workstations tied to the Control Room computer, so you can work on the session from your playing position in the Live Room.
The computer system is set up for easy file transfer between various workstations and formats on PC and Apple computers, and long distance collaboration is easy with online file transfer services.
